OUR STORY
A PIECE OF CAKE is a licensed home bakery nestled in the hills of New Milford, CT. Established in 1993, I was known in the area as 'The CakeLady'. I served the community for over 20 years making custom cakes for all occasions and, personally, have made over 1,000 wedding cakes. I worked with several of the area's banquet halls & participated in Bridal Shows. I was a vendor at New Milford's Farmer's Market for many years selling all kinds of baked goods, which included my line of coffee cakes.

I have retired from the custom cake industry, but continue to bake my Coffee Cakes. This site was developed especially for them. Baking is my passion. My cakes are baked with Love. I hope you enjoy eating them as much as I enjoy baking them for you!
